Jalgaon : The body of a woman infected with corona was found in the bathroom of Covid Hospital of Government Medical College in the city, causing a stir in the entire Jalgaon district. The woman had been missing since June 2. Due to this incident, the management of Covid Hospital in Jalgaon has come to the fore
An 82-year-old Corona-positive woman from Bhusawal in Jalgaon district was admitted to a government college in Jalgaon on June 1 due to serious condition. However, after 24 hours, the woman went missing. The woman’s relatives had reported her missing at the city’s district police station as the woman had not been found for the past week despite full security. While the police investigation was going on, a foul smell was coming from the bathroom in ward number seven of Covid Hospital today.
The woman was found dead when the police broke down the door in the background of the incident. With this incident, however, the mismanagement of Kovid Hospital has come to the fore once again. Didn’t anyone clean this bathroom in eight days? Why weren’t CCTV cameras used when the woman was missing, why are they always off even though CCTV cameras have been installed, why didn’t a doctor treating her, Sister Ward Boy, suggest finding someone in the bathroom? Many questions are now being raised that no one has visited the ward during this period.
When asked about this incident, Jalgaon District Collector Avinash Dhakne said that this incident is very serious. The administration has said that the incident will be thoroughly investigated and those found guilty will be dealt with severely.
After the incident, the woman’s relatives have also strongly criticized the mismanagement of the Covid hospital. The fact that the police and the hospital administration did not investigate his grandmother for eight days shows how seriously he looks at the patient. Relatives are now demanding action against the culprits.
The woman was reported missing after learning of her disappearance from Covid Hospital. The police administration and the hospital administration should have searched the bathroom with the help of female staff after the complaint was lodged. But it didn’t happen until the stench came, which is very unfortunate. We are complaining to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister regarding this incident. This incident casts doubt on the public’s credibility with the government hospital. Minister Gulabrao Patil has said that this is a very reprehensible matter even from the point of view of people’s representatives like us.
