Amidst growing cases in the state, there were reports of a complete lockdown in Maharashtra from June 15 on social media and WhatsApp, after which Uddhav Thackeray government has given a clarification on this. The Chief Minister’s Office has tweeted and appealed to the people to ignore the rumors. The Maharashtra government has started its ‘Mission Begin Again’ from May 31, under which people have the freedom to get out from five in the morning to seven in the evening, while shops can open from nine in the morning to five in the evening. During this time people will have to follow safety guidelines and social distancing rules.

After which CMO Maharashtra tweeted, ‘Lockdown is not being repeated. Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray has appealed that people should stay away from the crowd.
