Test us, but let us come to Mumbai’, said the grief of the staff trapped in the sea
A ship in the sea near Mumbai has been stuck for the past 21 days. Test our Covid 19 but let us come to Mumbai, the ship’s staff has requested.
Mumbai: A ship in the sea near Mumbai has been waiting for the shores of Mumbai for the past 21 days. The ship has a total of 132 employees. They have to return to India. But the ship is still stuck in the sea as it has not yet received permission from the Indian government. Vidyadhar Vilas Pole, a young man from the ship, has also made a video giving this information. Which is going viral for good on social media.
Another important factor is that there are a total of 35 Mumbai Indians. All of which is to say, we have not had coronary infection. Currently, we are being checked on a daily basis by a doctor on a ship. No one has yet found Corona positive in it. The ship, which has been stationed in the sea near Mumbai for the past 21 days, is now heading towards Europe in the next 2 days. So we cannot go to India. We have to sail to Europe. Lockdown is currently in many countries around the world. International air traffic is closed in many places. Aircraft traffic in India is also closed. So these workers say that it will be time for us to stick to Europe.
Talking about this, Vidyadhar Pole said, “We went to the ship on September 21. Our ship is a passenger ship. We are now waiting for the Sri Lankan-Cochin journey to Mumbai. Currently, corona virus is spread throughout the world. Therefore, our ships are not allowed to come to Mumbai. But we are trying to contact Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. If we are not allowed to come to Mumbai within the next 2 days, we will have to travel to Europe with the ship.
Currently, the airport is closed due to lockdown. So we have to face huge difficulties to come back to India. We have all the facilities onboard. But many of us have problems at home. So it is important for us to be with family. We are also ready to be quarantined if we allow them to come to Mumbai, ”said Poole.
