The Television channel has begun re-displaying old series to entertain people during the lockdown. The list also includes Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh’s ‘Circus’ series. Actress Renuka Shahane played the lead role in the series. Now, 4 years later, the Renukani series has been revealed.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Renuka Shahane said that Shah Rukh was a very popular actor at the time. Shah Rukh’s army was hugely popular at that time. Many fans waited outside the set to meet him. ‘That time was cool. Many were crazy for Shah Rukh Khan. Because at that time, his soldier, the owner, was a hit. At that time, people had to queue for a glimpse of Shah Rukh, ”said Renuka Shahane.

‘Shahrukh was not a big movie star at the time. Even then I saw him surrounded by 3,000 people. People just wanted to see Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh also carried on his work. He worked without break for 2 hours in a row. We even got excited to work with him, ”said Renuka Shahane.

The circus is re-appearing on television on Saturday evening at 8pm. Lockdown was announced across the country to stop the spread of the Corona virus. Following the announcement, a number of hits and iconic series of the ’90s began to re-appear to entertain the audience. There are several series including ‘Mahabharata’, ‘Ramayana’, ‘Shaktimaan’, ‘Circus’, ‘Bauman Bakshi’, ‘Deer Bhai Dekh’.
