Coronavirus: No other passenger train will start, the Railway Ministry explained

The Indian Railways has released passenger trains from some states in the country. However, the released trains have been released only at the request of the state government. This is an important step taken by the state government with the help of the Center to take the stranded passengers to their villages. At the behest of the state government, a labor train was started to take the foreign nationals stranded in the shelter home to their homes during the lockdown. However, the Railway Ministry has clarified that no other railway service will be started.

Workers and citizens from Uttar Pradesh who were in shelter homes in Nashik city and district during the lockdown were sent to Lucknow today by labor train. Nashik Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal interacted with the citizens in this train. The train was also flagged off. So, a discussion has started as to whether the trains are being released. However, the Railway Ministry has given an explanation in this regard. The railway department has also said that the labor train will be released only as per the instructions of the state government. So no one should crowd the railway station, no one else can travel by train. Also, the sale of tickets by the railways has been stopped.

The racks of long-distance trains, which carry millions of passengers across the country, are lined up with CCTV cameras in some places and railway police personnel deployed where they are not available. The engines of those vehicles are also parked at various places but they are being maintained everywhere. Many of the locomotives are currently being operated in stages for the transportation of freight trains. There is also a large number of engine services in Kalyan, Mulund, Igpuri and Lonavla. In the same way, the service is working in Pune, Nagpur, Solapur circles.

Meanwhile, RPF personnel have been on high alert to prevent theft of fans, coolers, faucets, washbasins, coaches, fans, lights and other facilities in air-conditioned coaches where long-distance coaches are parked. Care is being taken to ensure that the national property is not stoned or damaged. Meanwhile, cleaning and disinfection of bins is also being done from time to time where required.
