New Delhi : Luxury car manufacturer BMW has launched the M8 Coupe (M8 Coupe) and 8 Series Gran Coupe (8 Series Grain Coupe) in India. The M8 Coupe has been priced at Rs 2.15 crore (ex-showroom). The BMW 840i Gran Coupe has a starting price of Rs 1.29 crore. It has been launched in two variants. In which the price of M Sport Edition has been kept at Rs 1.55 crore (ex-showroom).
Both have BMW’s flagship cars. Currently, the company will digitally sell both the vehicles through its contactless experience online retail platform. These cars will be available at the dealerships after the lockdown ends. Let’s know about both cars …
Safety features The BMW M8 Coupe features 6 airbags, attendant assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC), ABS, e-brakes and more as security. Apart from this, it has an optional BMW night vision.
Talk about the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, it has 6 airbags for safety, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Auto Hold with Electric Parking Brake, Side Impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor and ISOFIX siled seat mounting are given.
Engine and Power BMW M8 Coupe has a 4.0 liter, 8-cylinder V8 petrol engine. This engine generates power of 600 hp and torque of 750 Nm. Its engine is mated to an 8-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission. Talk about speed, this car is capable of catching 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe uses BMW Twin Power Turbo technology. It has a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder in-line petrol engine.
