The death toll in Maharashtra crossed 500, 36 patients died in one day in the state, Gujarat also recorded a record 26 deaths in one day, the death toll was 262.

The death toll in the country due to Corona infection has increased to 1322. On Saturday, a record 94 people died in one day. This is the highest number of deaths in a single day so far. Meanwhile, Lokpal member Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi also died of infection. Justice Tripathi was 62 years old. He was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi on 2 April. Earlier, on April 30, the highest number of deaths was 73 patients. Saturday was the worst for Maharashtra. A record 36 people lost their lives in a single day here. The death toll in the state also crossed 500. So far 521 people have lost their lives here. In this, 322 people were from Mumbai alone.

It was also a dark day for Gujarat. 26 patients died here. This is the highest number of deaths in a day in the state so far. The death toll was 262 here. 185 of them were from Ahmedabad. At the same time, 7 patients died in West Bengal, 7 in Rajasthan, 6 in Madhya Pradesh, 3 in Karnataka, 2–2 in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. 1-1 infected died in Bihar, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Telangana. Earlier on Friday, 65 patients died.

Justice Tripathi’s condition was critical for three days

Tonight at 8: 45, Justice Tripathi breathed his last. His condition remained critical for the last three days. They were placed on ventilators. Justice Tripathi was part of the four-member team set up for the Lokpal. Earlier, his daughter and cook were also found to be corona infected, who is now cured.
