JEE Main, NEET 2020 Exam Date: NEET and JEE new dates announced, Human Resource Development Minister informed
JEE Main, NEET Exam Dates: The dates of JEE and NEET examinations have been announced by the HRD Minister himself.
New Delhi: JEE Main, NEET 2020 Exam Date LIVE Updates: There is good news for the students preparing for NEET and JEE. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the exam dates. JEE Main exam will be held on 18-23 July and NEET exam will be held on 26 July. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ himself has given information about this. Please tell that JEE exam is done for NEET and engineering for medical studies.
Admit cards of registered candidates will be issued soon. The admit card will contain information about the examination center, exam city, and session of the exam. The admit cards will be issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can download the JEE Main Admit Card from the official website nta.ac.in.
It is worth noting that the Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE Mains) is conducted for admission in engineering colleges across the country, whereas the admission in medical colleges across the country is taken through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).
More than 1.5 million students have registered for NEET examination across the country. This exam is the way to get admission in medical colleges in India. At the same time, more than nine lakh students have applied for the JEE Mains exam, through which admission in all other engineering colleges in the country except Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
JEE-Mains is considered to be a qualification for the JEE-Advanced Examination through which IIT examination takes place.
Let us tell you that to prevent the spread of corona virus infection, the government ordered the closure of classrooms, after which universities and schools across the country are closed since March 16. At the same time, a nationwide lockdown was announced on 25 March, which has now been increased twice to 17 May.
However, it is not yet clear when the exams for 10th and 12th will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The board had announced that it would conduct examinations of 29 pending subjects as it was important for passing the class and for admission to higher educational institutions.
