Online studies from Wuhan … Classes are held every day : According to the Business Standard report, this student from Thrissur in Kerala shared her experience and said, “I have been taking classes from my university since February.” Class is held every day according to the subject. We have been told that currently the subjects for which the online class is going on, will be repeated once the regular classes start, because they have to be practical. The medical student of Wuhan University was admitted to the hospital on 27 January due to sore throat and dry cough, where on 30 January she was found to be corona positive. This student returned home on semester holiday. He was found to be corona negative in two tests conducted after three weeks of treatment at Thrissur Medical College Hospital. The student was discharged from the hospital on 20 February.
Did not feel afraid of Corona : The student also shared the experience after being found corona positive, she said, “When my sample was found corona positive, people around the world were recovering from this epidemic.” I was not scared at all. Nor did I have any problem regarding health.
Creepy Experience… get corona symptoms like this : The student said, when we returned from Wuhan, we were told that if we see any symptoms of corona, then we have to inform the health authorities about this and have to have a home quarantine for 28 days. Health department officials were constantly contacting us and getting information about health. As soon as I had a sore throat and a dry cough, I informed the health authorities about this and sent an ambulance outside the house.
That’s why Wuhan is the student’s choice : This student from Kerala is taking an online class from Wuhan University after being discharged. Many students from Kerala study in Wuhan. The city of Wuhan in China is also the first choice of the students because it provides better facilities at comparatively lower fees. Classes start from 9:30 am Indian time, starting at 5:30 am Indian time till 9 am. During this, there is a break of ten minutes. The university also has faculty from China, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, but most of our faculty are from China and take classes in English.
Mother’s hand is divided in kitchen : Asked what she does in free time, this student told that she loves to cook and she shares her mother’s hand in the kitchen. The student said, We had a kitchen in Wuhan hostel and I used to cook my own food. Here I help my mother cook.
Not a single corona patient in Wuhan : According to the student, we have been told that there is not a single patient suffering from Corona virus in Wuhan. However, air services have not been started yet. The university has said that classes will be renewed on the return of students, but no deadline has been fixed for this yet. China’s health officials said on Sunday that the last Covid-19 patient in Wuhan has also been discharged from the hospital after becoming infection-free, and this is the first time that any Covid-19 in any hospital in the city Is not patient. According to China, 3,869 people have died due to Corona virus in Wuhan.
