Mumbai, June 23: The Municipal Corporation has undertaken another mission to curb the growing corona virus in Mumbai. As a part of this, BMC has now undertaken the mission “Mission Universal Testing”. The most important part of this is that the corona test report will be available in just half an hour. For this, the corporation has decided to purchase one lakh antigen testing insects. Corporate houses and private companies have also been advised to test their employees by purchasing rapid testing kits as per the recent approval of the government.

Antigen testing is allowed by the only company insect, SD Biosensor, approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Compared to the current RTPCR, the only diagnostic test, this test determines a very fast barrier.

It is used to test for corona in hotspots or preventive areas, as well as in patients with high risk and other illnesses, including corona. The results of this test are obtained within 15 to 30 minutes, making it possible to treat infected patients immediately.

With this in mind, BMC has decided to procure 1 lakh government approved antigen insects. These pests will be available soon. These insects will be used in all Mumbai Municipal Hospitals, Government Hospitals as well as Corona Treatment Centers. It is hoped that immediate action will be taken to prevent the spread of the disease by testing the suspects immediately.

Today, the number of patients diagnosed daily has dropped slightly. For the past seven days, there have been at least 3,700 to 4,000 patients a day. She arrived at 3214 today. Maharashtra’s covid mortality rate is still higher than the rest of the country. A total of 248 corona deaths were recorded in the state today, 75 in the last 48 hours and 173 in the previous few days. 1925 patients were cured and discharged. As a result, the state’s recovery rate has also improved slightly.

The country’s average covid mortality rate is 3.36. It too has risen from 2.8 in the last week. Maharashtra’s mortality rate is 4.69. A total of 1,39,010 patients have tested positive for covid so far in the state. Of these, 62,833 are active patients. So far 69,631 patients have been discharged home.
