Bhilwara, June 27 : The district collector of Bhilwara district in Rajasthan has imposed a fine of Rs 6 lakh 26,600 on a person. In fact, the man had invited more than 50 people to his son’s wedding on June 13. After attending the ceremony, 15 people were found to be infected with corona. One person has died due to this infection.
What is special is that the administration in Rajasthan has followed a strict lockdown. The administration is very cautious about the instructions given under lockdown to prevent the spread of corona infection. A large number of lockdown violators have had their invoices cut. In Rajasthan, more than 1.36 lakh challans have been issued so far under the Outbreak Ordinance and more than 2.35 crore fines have been recovered from them.
More than 66,000 people were fined for not wearing masks.
Director General of Police BN Soni said fines have been levied on more than 66,000 people who did not wear masks in public places.
Invoices of 63,000 people who do not observe social distance have been deducted. Apart from this, strict action has also been taken against those who spit in public places, drink alcohol and consume gutka-tobacco. At the same time, a large number of vehicles were seized and a fine of crores of rupees was imposed on them. The action is still ongoing after that.
