Corona virus positive cases in India have crossed 1000, the rate of corona infection in the country is slower than other countries.

The number of corona virus cases has crossed the 1300 mark in the country. According to a database prepared by John Hopkins University, India is among 42 countries where the number of corona virus cases is above 1000. The Ministry of Health and Welfare said on Monday morning that 1071 cases have been confirmed in the country, 29 deaths have occurred and 100 people have been properly discharged.

It is important to see that 15 days ago Covid-19 confirmed cases in India crossed the 100 mark in India. But in Turkey, cases increased in just 4 days, as much as in 15 days in India. Is the speed of Covid19 cases increasing in India? The India Today Data Intelligence Unit (DIU) analyzed the report published daily by the World Health Organization on corona virus.

DIU found that the number of confirmed cases in India to reach 100 to 1000 has been relatively slow compared to other countries. DIU divided the data into three categories based on the speed of Covid19 cases from 100 to 1000.

There are total 6 countries where the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases reached from 100 to 1000 in less than a week (6 days). Corona virus cases reached 100 to 1000 in Turkey in just 4 days. On March 19, such cases in Turkey crossed the 100 mark and on March 23, they had reached above 1000.

After Turkey comes the number of China, which has been the axis of this epidemic. In China, the figure of 100 to 1000 was reached in 5 days. On January 19, the number of Covid-19 confirmed cases in China crossed the 100 mark. By 24 January, this figure had reached 1000 in China. In Iran too, the pace of increasing the case was similar to China. There too, the figure reached above 100 to 1000 in 5 days.
