Corona patient’s dead body will not be handed over to family members; (Corona Patient Funeral Instructions for Pune)

Pune: Pune Divisional Commissioner Deepak Mhashekar has decided that the dead body of Corona patients will not be given to the family in case of death of a patient in Pune region. The body will be cremated in a gas or electric vessel. (Corona Patient Funeral Instructions for Pune)

Already, there was a clear suggestion for a funeral procession on the corona patient’s body, in a gas or electric furnace. But only a small number of family members were allowed to participate in the funeral. Now, in the event of death of a corona patient, strict orders have  been given for the custody of the dead body to its relatives.

If you want to bury the dead? If you want to bury the dead, you will have to dig a pit six feet deep away from the city. The body will be placed in two plastic bags and soaked in sterile liquid. The death toll from the corona virus infection has increased in the state. Pune has the highest number of coronary outbreaks since Mumbai. Against this backdrop, Divisional Commissioner Deepak Mhashekar has given important instructions to the district chiefs of Pune about the corona patient’s funeral.

A corona patients dead body’s artery is more likely to spread the virus. He also suggested that PPE kits and sanitizers should be provided to the people handling such corpses. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced a lockdown in the state till April 30, at least. Number of corona’s patient in Pune has been increasing day by day. Two women died yesterday (April 12) of Corona. So far 31 people have lost their lives due to corona in Pune.

A total of 240 people have been infected with Corona in the district. 19 of them have returned home after defeating Corona. Pune has the highest mortality rate in the country. Pune has a mortality rate of 11. 96%, whereas the mortality rate   is 5.97 percent in  the world .
