ASI arrested for threatening Yogi Adityanath on social media

Confirming the case, Ghazipur SP Dr Omprakash Singh has stated that ASI hails from Dildarnagar area of Ghazipur and was posted as an constable in the police department in Nalanda, Bihar. On the Facebook page on ASI, he had made abusive remarks against the UP CM about the case of Ajan in Ramadan.

ASI threatened UP CM

UP police arrested man :
The ASI, which threatened to shoot Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media, has been arrested by the UP Police. Ghazipur police of UP has arrested this ASI. The ASI is accused of making indecent remarks against CM Yogi Adityanath on Facebook on 24 April.

Comment was made against CM :
Confirming the case, Ghazipur SP Dr Omprakash Singh has stated that Tanveer Khan is a resident of Dildarnagar area of Ghazipur and was posted as an constable in the police department in Nalanda, Bihar. It is alleged that Tanveer Khan on his Facebook page on April 24 made a derogatory remark against the UP CM about the case of Ajan in Ramadan.

UP police took action on the complaint

When the UP Police received a complaint, the police took it seriously. The UP police investigated this Facebook post, that the accused turned out to be Ghazipur.

The accused was arrested from Nalanda :
The UP police reached Nalanda in search of accused Tanveer Khan and arrested him with the help of local police. The police has put several sections on him on the charge of making vulgar remarks on social media and has sent this person to jail at present.

Please tell that the UP Police has warned people that users should desist from any inflammatory comments on social media. Police has said that UP Police will take strict action against such people for instigating religious sentiments, posting against someone’s dignity and identity.
