Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the victims of Malad building accident: Guardian Minister Aditya Thackeray.

The district administration has been instructed to submit proposals immediately to provide additional assistance to the families of the deceased from the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund.

Mumbai : Guardian Minister Aditya Thackeray contacted all the concerned agencies and got information about the accident that took place on the house on the upper floor of the building at Malad Malvani. He directed the Municipal Collector and the police administration to provide all possible assistance to the victims of the disaster. Two persons were killed in the accident and their families would be provided assistance of Rs four lakh each.

Another 13 people were injured in the accident and were treated at a hospital and released. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire brigade, municipal workers, police and locals rushed to the spot. Both died in the incident. All the other 13 were safely evacuated. He was treated at a local hospital and released.

Accident victims should be given good quality treatment. Aditya Thackeray also instructed the administration to provide temporary shelter for them. He also suggested that they should be helped to make temporary arrangements for the rest of the building.

The Guardian Minister Thackeray instructed the district administration to provide immediate help to the families of the victims.
