The Department of Higher and Technical Education has not decided to cancel any University Exams : Uday Samant

Mumbai: The Department of School Education has decided to cancel the Class XII paper and the XI exam in view of the increasing prevalence of the corona virus.

Due to this the university and college exams have also been canceled. However, Higher and Technical Education Department has not taken any decision to cancel any exams of universities and colleges, said Minister of Higher and Technical Education Uday Samant.

A committee of Vice-Chancellors has been constituted to decide when, how and when to take the exam. Following the report of this committee, further decision will be taken considering the prevalence of corona in the state. Also, the recommendations of the committee concerned will be taken to the Governor and a final decision will be taken on that, ”said Uday Samant.

If an emergency situation arises in the wake of Corona, how will the exam be conducted in the future? Whatever decision may be taken on this matter will be informed officially from time to time, ”said Uday Samant.
