Navi Mumbai: In the wake of Corona, various measures are being taken to disinfect the New Mumbai APMC Market. A sanitary tunnel was installed at the entrance to the vegetable market today to prevent corona outbreaks. Everyone in the market will enter through this tunnel. This will reduce the spread of corona virus in the vegetable market, said Anil Chavan, Administrator and Secretary of Navi Mumbai APMC (New Mumbai APMC Market).

Vegetable trader Shankar Pingale has said that the device will reduce the spread of corona virus. The Market Committee Administration is implementing various activities so that the market does not become crowded. The administration has already taken measures to spray on cars, barricade up to 500 meters outside the market, sanitizer and masks at the market entrance. Now a new device has been installed by the APMC administration at the market entrance.

 

A sanitary tunnel has been installed at the market entrance. So each person will enter and exit this tunnel. This is the first initiative to be implemented by the Market Committee in Maharashtra to prevent corona infection. In particular, such a device is mainly in Italy, China and some other developed countries. Presently, APMC officers, police, health, revenue and Zilla Parishad administration officials, employees are putting their own lives at risk and doing health checks and similar activities. This device may be useful for disinfecting them after returning from the hurricanes zone.
