During the hearing on Wednesday, the Supreme Court said that the government should make a process so that the money can be reimbursed to those who do their tests in private labs. The court said that doctors and medical staff are warriors in the fight against Corona.

Hearing the petition filed for the protection of the corona test and doctors and medical staff engaged in its prevention, the Supreme Court said that these people are warriors and the safety of them and their family members is very important. During the hearing of the case, the court also expressed concern that private labs should not be allowed to take money to investigate Corona.

118 labs are doing 15 thousand tests every day

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told that 118 labs are currently working with 15000 test capacity per day. Now we are also going to allow 47 private labs for testing. This is a developing situation. We do not know how many labs will be required and how long the lockdown will continue.

Will consider SC suggestion: Tushar Mehta : 

The Supreme Court said that private labs should not be allowed to take money for testing corona. A mechanism should be put in place by the government to reimburse the test. On this, SG Tushar Mehta said that he will consider all these suggestions. At the same time, on behalf of the government on the safety of the medical staff, SG Tushar Mehta said that every arrangement has been made by the police and the governments.

Medical equipment is being arranged :

During the hearing of the case, on behalf of the government, SG Tushar Mehta said that all medical equipment including PPE kits are being made fast. Also, positive people should not influence anyone, it is also being taken care of. Apart from this, the government also told the court that there is no truth in the matter of deducting money from the salaries of doctors.

In fact, the Supreme Court has challenged a notification allowing up to 4500 rupees for checking corona in a private lab. On this, the Supreme Court told the government that the corona test should be done for free.
