Two murders / double restaurant workers killed in Mumbai, bodies of both found late at night in tank.

Two employees of a restaurant and bar were killed in Mira Road area adjacent to Mumbai. The bodies of both of them were found in the water tank of the bar late on Thursday.

• The case of Shabari Bar and Restaurant located in Sheetal Nagar on Mira Road, the owner of the bar informed the police.
• Injury marks were found on both the bodies, the reason for the murder is not clear yet, the police sent the bodies for post mortem.

Mumbai. Two employees of a restaurant and bar were killed in Mira Road area adjacent to Mumbai. The bodies of both were found in the water tank of the bar late Thursday night. The bar owner called and informed the police about the dead bodies. Police have found bruises on both their bodies. However, the cause of the murder is not yet clear.

Shabari Bar & Restaurant was closed due to lockdown. Late Thursday at around 1 o’clock, the owner called and informed the Kanakkia police station about the dead bodies.

According to the information, Shabari Bar & Restaurant on MTNL Road in Sheetal Nagar was closed due to the lockdown. The two employees have been identified as Naresh Pandit (52) and Haresh Shetty (48). Some people have been detained for questioning. The statements of the staff of the bar are also being taken.

Head and body bruises :
On receiving information about the murder, SP Shivaji Rathod, Additional SP Sanjay Patil took stock of the incident. There were marks on both the heads and bodies of the employees who had been hit by something. It is feared that both have been murdered due to lockdown and financial crisis. Police claim that the case will be resolved soon.
