20 tested positive for Covid-19 at Gurdwara in Maharashtra’s Nanded
The nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19, which has been in place since March 25, was extended by the MHA for two more weeks on Friday. It will now end on May 17.
Nationwide lockdown in India was extended for the second time on Friday as corona virus cases continue to rise exponentially in the country. Now, India will remain under lockdown till May 17, the Ministry of Home affairs announced, with a little relaxation in all three zones– Red, Orange and Green.
The total number of people infected in the country has gone up to 37,336, and 1,218 people have died, according to the data published on the health ministry website at 8 am on Saturday.
