The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued new guidelines for art teachers.

New Delhi: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has asked schools to present the art learning process as a fearless activity where a student can demonstrate their art without fearing that it will be assessed Is going. The 84-page Art Integrated Learning (AIL) guideline prepared by the NCERT for art teachers of schools states that do not comment on a child’s artistic abilities, do not compare children’s artistic work, a process See as an outcome, and art should be considered as a medium rather than a subject.
It said, “The teacher should not reflect his prejudices nor promote an attitude that disrupts interaction with the student.” The assessment activity should be satisfactory, in which every child gets equal opportunity to participate and be identified without having to compete with each other.
The guidelines have been prepared by a team of teachers in collaboration with Jamia Millia Islamia on the basis of one year study conducted in 34 municipal corporation schools.
